Hi,
I'd like to migrate from an old IIS server to a new IIS server.
the DNS name will be the same.
The domain name will be pointing at the old server, and soon after I update
the DNS it will be pointing at the new server.
People asking for the domain will be served by the old server until such
time as the DNS shows the new server information.
Even though the DNS points to the new IIS server, I'd like a redirection to
the old server.
So final users would be redirected to the old IIS server and I could avoid
downtime.
Finally when I'm sure the new IIS server is working properly then I could
disable the redirection to the old IIS server.

Anyone with experience with IIS migration ? can I set up this configuration ?

Thanks in advance,
Giuseppe
