I would like to have a spot on my home page that displays related recent headlines (with link to full story) from news sources such as CNN.com, etc. Is there anyone who knows how to do this or where I can learn how?

    Thanks.

What you will need to do is install an RSS parser script on your website that will display an RSS feed on your page every time the page is loaded.

There's a great Searchenginewatch.com article here and depending on what type of server your site is hosted on (Unix or Windows) you'll need an RSS parser like one listed here.
