Hi all,
I have some questions regarding Article Submissions and they are as follows:
1) What is article submission?
2) What do you write about?
3) What does links from supplementals mean?
4) Are links from supplemental worthless?
5) What is considered a good Article directory?
6) Can anyone list some of these article directories?
7) What is meant by this: If the article sites are getting crawled before your own site they might be getting attributed as the originator of the content you posted and you're getting labeled as dupe.
8) Is article submission the same as press releases? If not, what is the difference?
Regards,

Article submission means submitting your article to some article directories which increases your website traffic very fast.
press release is different from it

Just find a topic that you're knowledgeable about and write an article. There are submission services that you can pay to submit your article to directories. You need to follow the proper format, however, when writing your article. Put a small box at the end of the article about yourself, as the author, and a link to your website.

These are generally not good suggestions.
There are many quality issues here. Many article farms are little more than spam, and not a neighbourhood you would want to be associated with.

Nine times out of ten - or more - it is better to publish an original article on your own site - and ONLY your own site.
This avoids the high risk that your version will be unlisted or supplementary listed.
And it avoids any risk of 'bad neighborhood' reciprocal linking issues.
Plus the advnatges of publshing on an article farm are usually zero.
Being paid to publish is a different ball game; but publishing for free services little more than your vanity.

hi,
What is Article Submission?
It is an optimisation technique, wherein you can write impelling articles relevant to your business and submit them into article directories available online.
What do you write about?
You can write on any topic that interests you. However, it will help your business only when you write on subjects that are related to your product/service, business or industry at large

Wow!
Yet another self-promotion.
Isn't time this was stopped?
