I am curious as to what we are charged for Link building solutions.
What do you charge/pay for one-way link building (cost per link).
CPL in UK = ?
CPL in USA = ?
CPL in RSA = ?
CPL in ??? = ?

I tend to NOT pay for inbound links. the best way to build inbound links is organically - by providing content that others WANT to link to.
If paying, it's usually not broken out on a Cost Per Link basis - many websites simply want X number of dollars per month for the links.
trouble is, having multiple links form THEM to you doesn't really do you as much good as one well anchored link pointing to your doamin from their domain - and there are the two biggest problems I see with buying links:
1 - Value - I'm not paying $400 USD per month for ONE LINK - just not worth the money
2 - Time - I have to pay to keep the link up, so now it's a recurring expense that I have to factor into my Cost of Goods Sold, etc. AND, if I drop the camapign, the link disappears and it's value is gone.
Top all this with a recent statement at SES that Google is getting very close to being able to reliably tell the difference between paid and organic links and I shy away from them. if offered in a alrger ad buy, I'll take one link, but I won't go looking for them.
As for those Link Building networks that seem to be popular - they'll tank soon enough when users begin realizing they're getting nowhere and the links have no value.
Now, into all this, I should add that I do work with folks such as Eric Ward - his "way" of helping you build links is proven and ultimately, based on the value of your content - he gets you noticed by peeple who can spread the word about your content. If the content has value, users will like it and link to it completing the circle - if not, well, sucks to be you/me - back to make new content and try again.
Such services are NOT cheap (thousands of dollars a pop) and may require more than one try to get the results you desire.
