I am looking to incporporate a blog into an existing site and am looking for some suggestions on what to use. I'd like something that could be incorporated easily into the current site. So far, the only one I really know anything about is WordPress. Looks like it's free and can be integrated into a site.

Anyone have any other suggestions or comments about WordPress? Appreciate it.

I use WordPress for a lot of sites, both for blogs and for other types of sites. I wouldn't use anything else (but, since I've been happy with it, I haven't tried any other blog tools/software like Typead).

It's definitely free, and can easily be integrated into a site.

Is it flexible too? For example, if I want people to be able to post but not edit or delete, can that be done. Can an admin person edit and delete? Do people have to register or anything before they post or is it just an open forum?

Thanks for your comments.

You have control over whether or not people have to register; you can even moderate them before the comments appear on your site.

Consider turning off comments so people cannot comment--or edit the template so that it doesn't look like a blog and so people won't be inclinded to comment. It's totally up to you.

Awesome. Exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks so much.
