Hello all , i have a problem setting a title to my site in dreamweaver . I set the title "Disprova" in the properties , and in the code it appears
<title>Disprova</title>
but it keeps showing as an "untitled document" . I tried remaking the Index page from start and seting first the title , but doesnt work too , keeps on showing
as an untitled document . Thx for your help .

sounds strange to be honest, have you tried uploading it to the net and seeing if it still carries over the 'fake' title tag?

1 - make sure you test this on the Internet.
2 - Clear your cache in your browser - you'd be surprised what that handy little tool can fool you with...
3 - Are the title tags INSIDE the <body>..</body> tags? If yes, get them outside the body tags. I prefer to have my titles tags inside the <head> section in the code - works perfectly for me that way (I use Dreamweaver, too).

If you are using frames then the displayed title will be that from the framset page. You cannot change the way that frames work; you should design your site without frames.
If you are not using frames then run all of your pages through the W3C HTML validator and make sure that you do not have two or more title tags on any of the pages.

frames are evil anyways, but on a website each frame is considered a seperate document so maybe that was the problem
